This finisher has continually broken the exit belt stopper. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Bizhub 1250 Press FS-532 Breaking exit belt stopper
I'm assuming that the eject belt/stopper is in the saddle stitcher section.
I struggled with a FS-528 on a PRO950. The eject belt kept tracking off the front of the top pulley, deforming the tray, and damaging the attached stopper. On the fourth belt replacement, I installed the lower timing belt pulley opposite of the way it came from the factory, after all, it's just an idler, right?
To my delight it seemed to track better, and I haven't needed to touch it since. Note: there is a timing adjustment that needs to be done to align the stopper, and a belt tension adjustment. Be sure to look those up.
Does that help? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi,
This has been a worldwide issue since the release of this finisher.
There has been a release of firmware (V21) that is supposed to resolve. This new firmware moves the algnment plate out of the way so customers cannot accidentally damage this when removing the stacker assembly.Comment
