    [CQ] Konica 7135 Intermittent dark backgrounding when scan to PC and copying

    My first thought is to change the exposure lamp but wanted to get some ideas first. Are their problems with this lamp on this model. It is difficult part to get, which makes me think that is not the problem. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.... Thanks so much

      Check the first and 2nd mirror frames, see if they are either bent or jittering/ rocking during scan. have seen lots of these with the first mirror frame pushed down from techs cleaning them.
