[Dead] Corrupted Fiery Controller

Hi guys.

Please my c6500 controller is corrupt and won't come up on the display screen.

I have the IC-408 software but whenever i try to run it it displays "insert disk 1".

Please what do i do?

All 4 machines have the exact same controller problem.

Call for service...

If you have trouble installing software on 4 controllers - it's not a problem with your controller but with your software or the way you are trying to install software.

Try to use pendrive for installation - you need to get USB Prep Tool 1.3.1 or higher, and using this tool create bootable pendrive for system installation.

We actually have a clone of a working controller and find that it is normally quicker to simply re-image the drive with the clone we made from Acronis.

If you have a good machine in the field, ask the customer if it is ok to pull it offline for an hour and go out there and make a clone of the Fiery HDD. You can then use that to get your other machines running again, but don't forget to re-setup the Fiery as cloning another clients will transfer their settings to the other Fierys.
