We had one doing that. It was only print jobs though, not copies. Therefore I assumed that it was print related, not scanner or print engine. The server they were printing from was 260 miles away across a VPN, with the associated print delays, and it was only a proprietary software that output PS2 print emulation directly to the IP, bypassing the driver.
Of course, local IT said it couldn't possibly be the software, even though every other document software worked fine. My manager at the time thought it would be a good idea to replace every quality related component (color IU's, black dev, black drum, transfer belt, and secondary transfer). When the problem returned, nobody wanted to hear my theory again, so I was sent off on other tasks. To my knowledge it was never resolved. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
