The LCT uses the same pickup rollers as the trays, so I don't think that it will help. Is there any kind of after market large capacity feeder the uses the bypass tray?

I would thoroughly read responses before arguing with people here

Allen is not talking about the rollers, but the fact that the bypass runs the paper upside down from trays 1-4, so the NCR coating may not be transferred as quickly that way.

This brings up an interesting point about the rollers--you can try the c654 new ribbed rollers that should also work with the c650/c652 series. I bought some for the c650 I work on, but have not tried them yet: A5C1562200

You never responded to what paper is being used, 20# EXceOne Carbonless?

I've been using the new ribbed pick up rollers on the C552 & C280 with good results

I wasn't arguing, just stating that it appears to be the same style pickup rollers, and pulling the paper in the same orientation (side up) as the trays. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

I will try the ribbed rollers to see if that helps.

And I have tried various brands of carbonless paper with similar results.

the bypass tray and lct place friction on the back side of the sheet being fed. however the double feed prevention system puts friction on both sides of sheet no matter what feed is used.
