c35 smtp authentication get lost

hi I have c35 that after I configure everything and scan to email work fine
when turn the machine off and on the smtp authentication setting changed
to disable and the machine does not scan to email.
tried to replace the battery on the mfpb and nothing change.
any help?

Have you tried updating both the firmwares?

can't remember if i made firmware update before or after the problem
anywhere i will try firmware update
but what it mean both firmware?

We'll there's two firmware files for this model, engine & controller

Controller version is now Maintenance Release 10

& with the later engine firmware you can extend the life of the image units, this is very useful
