i have been using olivetti d-copia 2500 for quite some months. just now got an error 180. i try to reset but nothing happen. after i turn it on, the same error come again and again.

what is the exact message on the screen. don't think it will just be 180 . read what's on the screen and post exactly.

This looks like a Stratos to me. If that's the case, your C0180 error message means that the serial number stored on the engine and main controller do not match. The only way this can happen, is if a person were to swap out boards, and not swap back in the original firmware DIMM(s). Only a tech can create this problem. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

try u004 if not you can replace eeprom with a blank one and u004 may work, if not can try format hd otherwise pwb or dimm etc...Comment
