I've got an AK-730 with a broken center tray. Ordered the new part to find the bearings are different. Ordered them to find out the shafts & mounting are different. You can't order the whole tray like you can the exit section. Anyone have a shortcut or easier way to do it ?

Re: AK-730 Parts
IF you are a kyocera dealer, login to the service portal and open a ticket. explain what is your situation and they should respond to you quickly. alternatively, phone kyocera usa, have you dealer credentials and they have to come up with a solution for you. Sometimes, they do not have part numbers for items listed in the parts list, but a call to their rep and they come back with a part number. our contact guy at the shop handles that. I think you know the steps tmagedTHE ONLY THING FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING..........edmund burke -
Re: AK-730 Parts
I tried our Customer Service rep in Dallas, but she wasn't able to help me. The hotline will tell you they don't have access to parts/guides, I've had that discussion with them before. I'll try our Regional Service Manager next. Just thought someone here might have fought this one already. Thanks for your input as always. You're good to have around here.Comment

Re: AK-730 Parts
It looks like bulletin C038 has the complete conveying unit available as a part. 303NB94241
Not sure why the parts manual was never updated to reflect it. Ordering one today, I'll post follow-up.Comment

Re: AK-730 Parts
Thanks for posting back Tony. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: AK-730 Parts
The base of the transport unit. They changed from bushings to bearings, changed the length of the shafts, etc. much easier to get the complete unit.Comment
