    [CQ] 4500i dot/marks on pages

Here's what I've tried/swapped so far, firmware, dev unit, drum, complete right door, HV PWB, laser, and i don't see any damaged wires,

time for another opinion, the patterns vary per page, they are grouped but position and distance vary page to page.

    sample:
Notatechie - "I am trying, but I don't know how to go into Service Mode. If I just go in and press *then 2, than 8, then * it does not do anything."
    SCREWTAPE - "Try harder.."

To me, that looks like arcing between the developing roller and the drum. Has the developer brush been adjusted? Are they OEM supplies? If you've replaced the developing unit, that probably covers cracked developer spacers. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

that is the first page out with a new dev unit taken out of kit this morning :/ the other parts were borrowed from a working machine, we only use oem supplies...developer brush adjustment?

they are quite some marks. i would think marks that heavy would be easily seen on say a drum or transfer belt etc. could it be some kind of electrical noise/interference on mains? the only thing noticeable is the image/text underneath doesnt seem to be affected.

just for fun ran U140 AC Calibration. set elevation to 2000 meters and the marks went away.

I would like to point out that according to What is my elevation? my actual elevation is 16 feet.

I don't consider this a "fix" since none of those values had been changed before.
