    FS-3920DN FS-4020DN Command Center password reset

    Hi Folks,

    I finally find the procedure to reset command center password on FS-3920DN and FS-4020DN (and probably other printers).
    I found many thread about this argument but no one has the solution so I'm going to post it here.

    Follow these steps:
    1. On printer panel Menu > Security > Security Level > Low
    2. Send this Prescribe command to the printer (ftp, lpt, Kyocera Net Viewer, IC Link, makes no difference)
      !R! KSUS "AUIO", "CUSTOM:Admin Password = 'admin00'"; EXIT;
    3. Open your browser and access command center with default password "admin00".

    I hope it can be useful for someone, it really takes a lot of time to find this solution.

    Have a nice day guys,
    Kyove

      Congratulations! =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.

      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Tried everything before and nothing worked. Tried this on a fs-1135 and it works. Only thing, when a settings is made, make sure to switch off and on the machine for the settings to take effect, even after when you send the command. Don't forget to switch back the security level settings to high.

            Re: FS-3920DN FS-4020DN Command Center password reset

            I've found that this works on many models but in some cases (e.g. fs-c5350) you need to use Kyocera Net viewer rather than using ftp.

            R click on printer> select communication settings>set login id & pw (3000, 3000 on fs-c5350).
            Close comm. settings window, r click printer>advanced>TCP/IP send data. In the "text" box, input the command as above (!R! KSUS "AUIO", etc.) and send the command.

            (You may need to set the security setting to low via the printer's security menu).

              !R! KSUS "AUIO", "CUSTOM:Admin Password = 'admin00'"; EXIT;

              Correct ???
