    Maintenace code ??

I have a Kyocera 6550ci that is indicating " Time for Maintenance C and D".

I know what "C" is but I do not know what "D" is. Anyone know? I have searched the SM and other and cannot find it.

I also have an 8000i that has "Time for maintenance "T". I saw a post that said just reset it U906. And something to do with setting install date and/or the time? Could someone elaborate on this as well?

Maint. D is a black PM. All maintenance letters are on tech bulletin #1. 906 for maint. T reset and make sure time and date are correct on the machine.

ntbann is correct. D & E were added after the machines were out. It's updated in bulletin #1.

Looked at bulletin 1 and did not see it there, but saw it on bulletin 12 on the bulletin section for this machine.

Thanks everyone. Once again you have been very helpful. I did not see it at first in the bulletins. I just used TB1. Thought they would have updated it but apparently not. Learn something new everyday. Thanks again for your help.

Just a note here about kyocera bulletin1. Bulletin1 is never modified from its original issue. Any changes is made in subsequent bulletins as in this case Bulletin 12. Every model has a bulletin section [ kyocera kdaconnect dealer login website ]and all update are listed there.

Note also. Some of the technical bulletins and machine modifications are only found on their ASTEA website and not on kdaconnect.

If you are a dealer then contact your kyocera service rep for all the details.

I contacted my rep and I now can see what you were talking about. Will need to play around with it in order to get familiar with it because it seems very broad when searching for info. Thanks again for introducing me to ASTEA.

Very broad is putting it kindly. It is as backward as can be. The search engine makes you work hard to get some measure of results. But mind you, this is not kyocera website, but a portal that they use. It is better than nothing and you can place call for technical help there, look at past Q&A and bulletins. That search engine is not for this modern era, totally backward.

I wish they would address how unintuitive the portal is, especially the search engine. You can't search for a number because if your search criteria shows up within another number or serial, it returns as a result. Not only that, but I can only use certain workstations/browsers to pull up resolved calls. It is almost a non-functional site for me.
