    [Jamming] DP7110 No original feed (Taskalfa 6002i)

    Has anyone had a problem with this dual scan document feeder being very fussy with originals? Its a new install, only 3k on the machine and 700 scans.

    When originals are placed into the feeder, it looks like they are catching on a foam pad on the separation roller guide.

    Jam codes we are seeing - 9000 (x14), 9011 (x2), 9400 (x1), 9600 (x2)

    This DP is very similar to the DP771, it has the same separation roller guide. We have fitted one from a used DP771 into this DP7110 to see if it makes any improvement.

    Any other ideas are most welcome.

      We had a 3252ci jam on the first original ran through the ADF in shop during setup. Found that it was the adhesive mylar ahead of the separator pad coming up. Initially, we just pressed it back down and it seemed to be fine but have since seen it called back in by the customer only days later. I cut and fitted a piece of mylar with adhesive backing to the front edge of the separator cover so that it covers the original black mylar and runs up to the pad.

          Does it feed all the originals, then jam after they all have passed? Look at this thread for J9000 jams like I have described:

          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
