    [Misc] Can't close the top door , toner cams out of sync

    SP C5350 The customer complaint was can"t close the top door after adding toner. The drive cams on the left side seem to be 180 degrees out of sync so the metal safty arms don't drop allowing the door to close. It is also very hard to get the toners in and out. I just got a service manual and there is not even an section on this so any help you can give will be great.

      double check to make sure that they have the correct toner supplied....i chased my tail on a similar machine, before I noticed, that the wrong toner was installed

          If it really is out of sync, I can forward to you a document on the Gemini modifications. There is a section covering the replacement of the toner cams. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
