    FS-9530

This printer is giving us fits. Only tray 3 dog ears.... All new PF rollers, only 80K on box, Swapped out trays, swapped out PF assy's. Cleaned and waxed all left door guides, pickers, etc... Dog ears go away for a day. Come back hard. Front top corner folds backwards over the paper before the fuser. Special label paper is used 100%. Hard fold. Trays are set for special paper. Has the added two tray pedestal not the LCT style. No finisher. Tray 3 is being difficult...Been there, done that anyone? Thanks... -Steve

Are you getting J12's? This is worth a try: On left door idler rollers install two pressure springs in the outer positions on each shaft (2BL06340).

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There were 2 bulletins regarding similar jams with paper folds.

First was shape change of the left cover 2:

Second was the shape change of retard pulley release lever on paper feed assy:

        Re: FS-9530 Dog ears fixed

They were running 81/2 x 11 r special paper. The solve was this. I watched the paper ejecting and noticed it was slightly off center of the eject rollers, only about 2-3 mm. I adjusted the paper position in the tray with the plastic screw and gear cam thingy.. I brought the paper closer to the front of the printer. It tracks straight in the center of the eject rollers now... Problem solved.
