[Electrical] TaskAlfa 3551ci not recognizing finisher

Hoping someone can help, I committed a school boy error today, I disconnected/reconnected the finisher while the machine was still powered on (I know i'm stupid)

It initially threw an 8800 error, I cleared that with U906 but now the machine won't see the finisher at all.

Tried updating fw no luck there.

I'm worried I have a blown a board, has anyone heard of this before!?

sounds like the board got blown on the finisher, make sure to check the connector harness that is on machine left side and connector that is on the finisher. I had one that it came out of slot on the finisher.
    Good Luck

Unplug machine from wall for 30 seconds. Kyocera usually don't take out boards

check the pins on the finisher we had some backed out

Sadly it's usually the engine board that dies in this situation. I tell other techs that the real damage happens when you go "Ooops!" and immediately plug the finisher back in. So if it happens, and it will ... don't plug it back in. Power down properly, reconnect cable ... and pray. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Maybe worth checking ICPs on DFMPWB and EPWB and the lines from PSPWB.
.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?
