Copystar just released letter stating that as of January 1, 2018 parts for this unit are discontinued. all inventory will be depleted by 12-31-18 if you order the entire belt assembly the updates will be in it. you will need to make sure the firmware is up to date when you install it. may be time to upgrade the customer. belt # 302JZ93070

Most of my 300Ci's jamming at the transfer belt were because of the rubber edge of the belt coming loose and binding the belt.

        Jam codes? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

J31 caused by torn/defective transfer belt.

I have a 300ci that give me J31, but it jam only when printing from the computer and only when the copier is in sleep mode.

(I posted a question about it last week).

Hytec support suggest updating the firmware.

Anyone of you guys encounter a similar j31 with those circumstances?

              Thanks
