***BWAHAHAHA Well frankly this is why a Site like this is so valuable to us techs. PHONE Support with the manufactures "Techs" is shaky at best with some. !st levels HATE turning over a call to 2nd+ levels.

Give me the old fashion Falcon fusers any day.[/QUOTE]

      with just about anything today...

EPA Regs... Taxes... Reputation.... M O N E Y ! bottom line is a manufacturer has to be SPOTLIGHTED in the PUBLIC forums ( for the most part ) about the failures of their product. Otherwise we will have to resort to CTN or others like it. BUT I would trust SOME techs here over the Phone guys!

Then and ONLY then will changes be made.

doubt "tub n tile" would hold up to the heat.

now EXHAUST sealer....! those header and exhaust pipes can get might hot on my RAM Magnum 1500! ( don't ask!)

          Hmmmmmmm ......
They do make baking dishes out of silicone.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

every thing said about these fusers are correct. I have about 50 6052ci mfps split over two sites. Every single one has been replaced under warranty, due to the wearing of the belt at the front and back. THEY ARE AWFUL.

Crap. We have just installed a bunch of 3552 and 3252 machines out there. I am wondering if it's the whole series that are plagued with this issue.

I actually had a 5002i fuser fail just as descibed. Thanks for posting, gotta stock up on those assy's.

So has anybody been fortunate enough to have the 2 series fuser last it's rated life, if not clicks when replaced.

                Cheers...

true but I really doubt it's the same formulation as tub n tile... but checking the tube.. the header gasket stuff I have DOES have silicon in it..so....
