    1650 message

Kyo/mita not my speciality but one of my customers has one in warehouse and asked me to look at it. I've replc the drum, developer, etc in the past so I know the machine a little but never saw this messg before.

Messg is "print mode error". Tried the usual stuff turn off and on, made sure no jobs pending on the PC's. Tried some stuff from google like confirming paper size when printing, etc.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

You need to go to the "Print Mode" for further details. The buttons on left "copy, send, fax, print"

I would make sure all end users printing to this unit are using the latest KX driver . Can be found on their public website

You'll see that message when you attempt to print, and don't have matching paper. It's sort of cryptic, and not very helpful. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The point being, if you're in the copy screen you'll never see the error detail. Hit the print button and it'll say what paper size/ type that's not loaded.

Kyocera is one of the easy machines to work on. Anytime you over think its not a kyocera.Usually that error is wrong tray paper type. paper size or its out of paper
