at 550,000 you will get a message that say replace felt roller and at some point the machine will shut down with wtb full and CQ will go to crap with bad fuser rollers...
My mission here on Earth is to help all you Dum-Dums!
My fuser rollers rarely make the 500K, and the waste toner often won't wait that long either. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
we have a few of these in the field and have found from past experience that if the kits are done when they are due these machines go on forever .
we keep parts like the old drum and dev for spares in an emergency otherwise fit the kits otherwise you will be back everyweek for another fault.
hope this helps

somebody may have allready said this ....but if you change the interval at witch the felt roller moves ...it will greatly increase heat roller performance...i change it ever 15 copies down from every 30 copies ...havent replaced a heat roller before its time since .....
We have these all over the place especially in some of our schools when treated right they run forever, but Kyocera keeps up with the P.M when it comes to warrantys. If you are worried about the cost of the P.m you can buy the B kit and rebuild the A kit parts. That will save alot of money the A kits can be rebuilt 7 to 9 times. And the drum is good for 4.8 million copies or 3 years. If you need any part umbers let me know

Good Day,
I have one of these units to attend onsite. Havent seen many of them before. It is jamming in the middle of the unit on the shelf that you can pull out before the paper enters the fuser unit. Would a maintenance kit for this machine solve the problem. If so can someone please give me the part number for the kit or for the drawer.

I was expecting something like J20, J21, J42, J63, ... like that. Print the jam list. =^..^=

If it's stopping before fuser area, you probably need a fuser drive gear that's a known problem. The fuser is not turning I.E. not pulling paper.
Fun to take apart, nothing fragile, but you should call a pro.
I am a pro. Im qualified on HP plotters and printers, Epson POS, Samsung printers and notebooks, Lexmark, Brother, Zebra Card Printers and numerous others. These Kyocera copiers are messing with my head. never been a copier fan. Its not that i cant see what to do to fix it its just I have no part numbers or even part names. I can see which rollers, transport units need to be replaced but as I have not worked on these before and have no manuals it makes it a little tricky.
Also have nearly 12 years on the job

Reason: extra info
As a pro you'll be better served by buying yourself a manual. $14.77 is a cheap investment. =^..^=

If it is that fuser drive motor...we've been replacing the motors with the ones that go into the TA 620's...they seem to hold up better...also probably wouldn't hurt to check and clean all the gears and belts on the exit assy right after the fuser....they can gunk up and slow things down....or have the small protrusions on some of those gear linking together break off and cause jams....
