Hi all, just want to see if anyone has come across this jam code 0509 from the mpt, basically what happens is the mpt lifts as if its about to feed paper and then comes up with 0509 jam, so basically no rollers actually feed, u031 doesnt show up with any senors active, we have gone by the manual and have tried complete mpt assy, conveying door and pwb feed 1 and 2, so the only thing left is the engine pcb as per service manual. Copier has current firmware and 1 mil prints

Re: TA6551Ci with J 0509
You might check the modular connectors where the door mates. Specifically check the harness connectors that fit into the back of the modular connectors.
I've seen cases where the harness just barely reached the other connector at the other end. So even touching the harness can disconnect the connector at the back of the modular connector. I re-routed the harness around a few looms to gain a little length.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
