    M3540 jam code 4211

    Hello all,

So I have this M3540 that is folding the left lead edge corner and is 4211 jamming. I have since replaced the hard plastic roller shafts per the tech bulletin. This didn't help so I also replaced the rear door again no joy. Originally I replaced the fuser due to toner build up and thought, that this was the issue. I have also replaced the drum due to a black strip down the left side again thinking that maybe it wasnt seperating from the fuser correctly and again no joy. Has anyone else seen this and can help an old guy, that is just about fed up with machines this week...other post to follow from a couple of other trouble makers....

I’m sorry, but as yet we have not found a fix. We first saw this four years ago and it has been replicated in the workshop.
We are putting it down to a design flaw exacerbated by a particular paper brand or possibly moisture.

I have this machine in the shop, and I have noticed, that moisture in the paper is part of the problem. I have ran over 1k on it with newly opened paper, and not a single issue. leave the paper out over night or longer and with the amount of rain, that we have had this winter I do good for it to run 10 without either corner wrinkling or jamming
