Do the feed system rollers turn properly by output test (if available)?

      Jamming out of tray

Check the paper size selector on the paper cassette itself. If you are running letter, and it is set to something else it will jam everytime.

take a close look at the gears on the registration roller the gear may be ok but if any of the plactic around it is cracked it will stick on that spot. Also check he two clips that hold the metal and ruber registration roller together the have a tendency to crack and brake make the two rollers seperate just enough to not feed properlly.

The major reason for jamming in these machine.

            1. The small metal tag under the fuser that connects with the switch on the engine board, (to the tell the machine the fuser is installed) can become slightly warped. Fix - Bend it in slightly towards the machine.

            2. The top cover switch can be slightly bent, put a tiny tiny bend half way along the metal tag on the switch, making it point up a tad more.

            3. In the pickup roller assy, remove the spring aboe the feed roller.

            4. The registration flag can sometime have a small bur causing it to either jam down once paper has past into the fuser or stick just enough to stop the paper. (This one is a rare occurance)

            5. PU rollers normally become pretty bald around the 60k mark.
