    Taskalfa 3550ci paper jam

    Hi everyone,

i have a Kyocera Taskalfa 3550ci, wich produces a paperjam randomly after a few pages. It is moved from the paper cassette like 1cm into the transer roll unit, but it nearly doesnt move at all, just this 1cm from the paper cassette. I already checked the transfer rolls, cleaned them. Additionaly, the problem appears in cassette 1 and 3, exact same problem. Could there may be a problem with the mechanism that moves the transfer rolles? Or has anyone a tip maybe what i could do?

    Thanks in regards

It would help to know the jam codes. Any errors stored? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Still no jam codes? You must have to travel a great distance to that service call. =^..^=

first thing on this model is check the 4 white rollers at bottom of conveying unit, are the rear 2 pushed out further than the front? this indicates broken roller mount,
second is the clutches, there are 3 in that conveying unit that like to rust out.
Third is the 2 sensors below the reg roller, make sure the cut out in the convey unit is blown out/clear of paper dust
last is the drive unit on rear of machine, again, the same clutches used in convey unit are in the drive unit also, rust, rust, rust
