Silent mode

silent mode can cause delays but not totaling to minutes to make a single copy, if I'm not mistaken-- unless other issues are involved.

In my limited experience, the network is often the issue-- but given that this happens with copies and not just print jobs, It is safe to assume that's not a factor. I believe I've also seen hard drive and memory issues cause the problem. In one instance I believe we had to replace the hard drive, in another instance we'd simply run a simulation that, I forget what exactly, but effected the memory.

Check in adjustments and see if someone enabled silent mode.

I ended up swapping the fuser and fuser IH unit, problem solved, thanks.

If the sleep level is set to Energy Saver on these models it can cause significant delays when waking up. Check the setting and set to Quick Recovery and recheck.
