TaskAlfa 5550ci drum blade part number question.

Does anyone know if the drum blade that fits all of these models, will also fit a TaskAlfa 5550ci?

    Kyocera KM-2530
    Kyocera KM-3035
    Kyocera KM-3050
    Kyocera KM-3530
    Kyocera KM-4030
    Kyocera KM-4035
    Kyocera KM-4050
    Kyocera KM-5035

    The part number is 2BL18300.

I have a 5550ci needing one for the black drum unit. Would like to just replace the blade instead of the whole ($500) drum unit. Ebay auction 223483948389 says it will fit the 5550ci.
Get the best deals for 223483948389 at eBay.com. We have a great online selection at the lowest prices with Fast & Free shipping on many items!

    Thanks a lot!

I cleaned this one and it did help. Did not fix it tho.

There's no way to tell unless someone has actually tried it because the 5550ci doesn't have a P/N.

But my 2 cents is these drums are rock solid. I have machines running for years on the original. If the customer plans on keeping it a while the $500 might be a wise investment over knockoff blades.

Well I'd order a Kyocera blade if I knew it would fit. Sold here:

that's a long shot between getting a part that works with those old machines to work on that newer one. idk but my guess would be no it wouldn't work. but that's just my 2 cents worth.

if it were me i would buy the ebay and get four blades for nearly the price of one at Precision...You can always purchase a new drum unit and actually you need one now so where is the harm in experimenting....

I was hoping to find someone who had done it already. Pretty sure someone out there has. If someone has and knows, please shoot us a quick note here.
Otherwise, I think I will go ahead and get the blade from PR. I get a good discount. Plus it'll be here in a few days instead of 2~3 weeks from China.

                thanks for the responses..
