How many clicks on the developing unit and drum? Are you using OEM toner? What condition is the transfer roller bushings and contact springs?

Do the touchscreen first. Forget about the DIMM for the moment.

Just to clarify: The top photo is original? print? copy? The bottom photo is original? print? copy?

I'm guessing that this is a print engine issue, not a scanning issue, just by the look of the images. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

So one image is off the printer, then i tried to copy it on the flat bed and the document feeder. The toner is a new one, printer quality is good, but scan/copy is the faded one...

I will get the touch screen replaced soon, but am concerned.

      Thanks

Which edge is lead edge out of the copier? 11" edge or 8 1/2"?
Is this the same through the ADF too?
Mark lead edge, front and rear of optics edges and trail edge.
It looks like 11" edge from the photos but that would mean the scan starts out correct then fades to white.
If that is the case and if it is good at lead edge and then slowly fades out to blank, And you were scanning from the glass and not the ADF -one of the mirror bases may be pivoting and lifting in the scan direction. That would make me want to check cables and scan rails.
If it is 8 1/2" edge then one side of mirror base is out of adjustment.
If it is from the ADF the scanner is stationary under the scan glass for the ADF (narrow slit of glass) and that could be mirror alignment and we would need to know scan direction and orientation.

Perhaps do a sky shot with paper loaded 11x8 1/2 and see if same result.

        Hope that helps a bit.
