[CQ] Kyocera 3212i Sporatic Lines & Blank Prints

Customer says copier will just start printing blanks, turn machine off and back on and everything is back to normal. The attached picture happens every once in a while also. The machine only has 12k on it. Thanks for any help!

My buddy thinks it could be a laser issue because on that pic I sent the vertical lines stop when it's time to print actual image, and then continue again after it prints image.

change the charge roller, or entire drum kit - it's arcing.

I also say replace the drum unit.
Had a machine doing the same recently and it was the drum unit causing the problem.

When i checked the pic, i could see that stripes also located in the margin areas.
Looking like stripes against running direction, no laser, no dv problem. main charge problem because of stucking drum drive.
I would start with new dk unit and check from drum drive.
