I have a customers FS-6525 that started occasional jamming then kept getting worse. When I was called it was down to every 8-10 pages. Finally every page. I swapped the fuser uniit out and problem solved. My curiosity said check the fuser. I can find nothing wrong with the fuser. Good rollers all turning, pickers look fine. The jammed copies had the corner folded but I can't find what was causing it. I know I could just throw the fuser away, but I like to know what caused the issue. Anybody know of anything odd on these? Thanks.

well clearly something is causing the dog ear..
do a stop test to find where it is getting the 'ear'
check inlet plate for toner build up
you never mentioned total pages on fuser and it's rated life span. -

Re: Kyo FS-6525 Fuser interesting problem
Jam code?If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
