We just picked up a 6030 about 250K on it a month after we signed the S/C and the machine is giving light copies, did all the general cleaning and drum is good. Toner is oem and cleaned machine good. Even after adjusting exposure to darkest setting no solids at all. Thanks in advance.

Two places that you should start testing:
1) print the U000 Maintenance print and examine the print quality.
2) key the front door. While running a sky shot then pull the interlock while the paper is under the drum. Then examine the latent image on the drum. When everything is operating properly there should be a very light dusting of toner on the drum, barely discernible as an image. If you can clearly see the latent image you are dealing with a transfer loss. The 6030 is a pretty fast machine. It may take you a few tries to stop the machine when the paper is under the drum. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Fix
Thanks again for your help, I went back Friday and checked everything when I replaced the toner hopper it came back, my guess is that they are a title co. and there business is suffering and from the lack of use maybe the toner is packing up on the blade the doctor blade that is and causing these light copies. I will take it apart and inspect it later.Comment
