    Taskalfa 250ci streak on trailing edge

    Hi,
    i fixed the taskalfa a few month ago and got it working very well. Since a few days i have a streak on the trailing edge.
    It does not appear periodically and is always at the trailing edge.
    I checked the prints with U089 and it looks the same on all colors. Does anyone have an advice what i should check next, or
    where to find the cause? Many thanks in advance,

      Are you talking about "flip"?

      I'm going to take a WAG that you're using 140 gsm or heavier media, showing significant curl? When the paper curls like that, it pulls away from the transfer belt before the whole image is transferred. Try lighter paper or paper with less curl. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Thanks for your fast reply! I suspected that the paper pulls away from the transfer belt, but i wasnt sure.
          I have used a few sheets 200gsm last week. Actually its 80gsm without any curl. I checked the roller that pushes paper against the transfer belt. It looks
          like its in place and the springs seem to work too, but its only a guess (i dont know about the correct spring pressure).
          I ll check again and try to compare with my spare part printer. Any advice for checking the machanism?

              I've never seen any issue with the second transfer roller, only the paper. =^..^=

                  a glance at the fuser unit and the ITB cleaning unit I would give it to him

                      Many thanks, i changed the paper and the phenomena is almost gone. I ll take that into account the next time i buy paper!
