I have a large customer that is wanting me to also address there toner needs which I do not normally do. Can the Taskalpha 4551ci email me when the machine needs toner. I know that engineers of copiers have tried to do simular things in the past and it has not worked well. Not sure I am a fan of print management systems but I can at least try to provide toner when needed... (I am thinking that is all it is anyway...) Thanks so much for any responses !!

There's a place on the webpage to set up email notifications. You'll need scan to email set up. Occasionally we'd get a customer that blocks emails to other domains. In that situation you make arrangements with the keyop to accept the emails and forward them to you by rule. It's reasonably easy to set up. Just make sure that the interval is set to 24 hours or more. You really really don't need a new email every 10 minutes when the toner is low. Take my word on this. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If you use KFS, you can have it enter the sales order into e-Automate automatically at the percentage you specify.Comment
