I see a lot of these machines if you fitted oem complete new drum and dev units I can't see what else cause that problem changing paper to a4r isn't fixing problem I don't know any Kyocera engineers that would do that.

            Post a sample print.
Don't know this Kyo is it a mono component machine.

In the photo of the drum the one band looks polished off.
Could that be a raised mag brush due to damage or contamination on the mag roller.
            Whatever

The color machines are all dual component. Only the older monochrome MFPs and the monochrome printers are still monocomponent.

Problem solved. When installing new drums and developer units Please guys only fully insert the units by pushing the units in from the connector end of the units Do no push the units with the release lever section as the units may not be inserted straight hence the reason for the marks on my drum.

Thanks guys for all you advise.

Isn't Kyocera SM tell how and where to push the units?

Your Dv has an issue.. see the image.. DV mag sleeve gone bad in the edge. it will affect the drum with arching .. Drum coating wiped of exactly opposite to this location. check it.

Never had any problems when fitting these parts but I think it's always best to fit new oem parts first time.

                          Well done Fault sorted.

Change the drum and K dev unit and your problem will be fixed. Its probably the dev unit that caused the problem.
