I'll bet that you didn't run U130 to fill the new developing unit with toner. I will do it eventually, it will just take a really long time. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I did enter the 10871087 and set 130. when you say it will take a really long time, are you suggesting just let it run? from the feel of the toner it has taken close to 1/3 of a new cartridge.

1/3 to 1/2. Yes, let it run.

It's mono-component toner, and the developing unit comes empty. Also keep in mind that you'll usually get some mottling when filling the developing unit for the first time. Just dry-wipe away any lumps of toner on the developing roller. =^..^=

If you stop the new developer setup before it reaches it's ten minute cycling, the next time you activate the machine it will go back to the beginning and try to cycle for ten minutes, in that senario it could easy use half the cartridge. Let it run its cycle.

I have error C970 on machine Thosiba e studio 2540cse. I checked every cylinder, everything looks K, inside the contacts seem K.Se I can see clearly, the blades on the cylinders are firm and clean. I understand that there can be something in short on the cylinders. What do I need to measure? WITH what codes can I check each cylinder. In the worst case, how can I cancel the color cylinders, so that after booting only black and white goes. But let it go. Thanks in advance! Chris

You should start a new thread as your machine is a completely different machine. You will get more help this way

Whenever I have to let a new developer unit load up U130 on a Kyocera model like this, I pull out my PC and set up my paper work next to me and try to look busy until the machine finishes. Or give the outside of the machine a serious cleaning without interrupting the developer unit cycling. Or both.

This is the sort of thing that KINDA makes me wish I smoked cigarettes as the period of time it takes to run a new developer unit is about the same time as a smoke brake. I say this only from observation.

Bottom line is whenever one runs a new developer unit on this type of machine, be prepared to spend some time as the developer unit runs up.

Let it run, it may run for up to 15 mins or so. It will use about half a toner cartridge as some have said

A Toshiba eS2540cs is a completely different animal than a Kyocera ECOSYS M2540dn. They have absolutely nothing in common. Also keep in mind that that Toshiba has been obsolete for quite a while. You are going to have difficulty locating any replacement parts. =^..^=
