[Jamming] Kyocera DCC 2726 - Paper jamming right before going out of the printer

    Hi,
I have a MFP Kyocera DCC 2726. The paper gets jammed right before getting out of the printer, it goes through the fuser, but it reaches the printer's top instead of the front part, where it should go out. You can see how it gets wrinkled softly in the forth picture, the soft wrinkling occurs due to the paper reaching the top of the printer. The fuser looks great, so I do not think that is the issue.

It used to do that only when printing on both sides of the sheet and automatically rotating it, now it does it almost every time for every kind of print(single/double sided, color/black and white).

I rotated the rolls that you can see on the second picture manually, back and forth, and the paper came out the next couple of times, however it did not on the third. The top roll that is supposed to roll the bottom one isn't rotating as easily as the bottom one. Should it be like that?

Any ideas on how can I fix this issue?

There is a plastic bump/sticker saying DCC 2626. There isn't anything else looking like serial numbers/model numbers etc, only the sticker in the picture I've attached in my main post. In the http://ip-of-the-printerolVnmEs.jpg

It is possible that the actual model of the printer Kyocera FS-C2126MFP (TA DCC2726) as the default admin and command center passwords match, plus it looks the same

Could be a jam flag/sensor issue.

If I understand you correctly, you mean that its just a broken sensor giving a false positive for a jam, however the paper actually jams, so that is not the issue. If that is not what you meant could you elaborate?

for me it looks like faulty fuser unit..
We are talking about 10 years old system Q890Zxxxxx
              0=2010/ Z=december
Because you are endcustomer, we can`t get eventlog to see which jam would logged, but i think it must be J4201 or J4211.
The waves from paper are coming from fuser unit also.
As a result waved paper will stuck at the exit rollers.
Bottom rollers are drive rollers, upper rollers are pressure rollers only.

I'm a Software Engineer by profession, so if you can tell me how to get the event log, I should be able to see it. I have access to the admin settings of the printer and the admin version of the Kyocera Command Centre.

So far I've managed to get the following printed:
                IMG_20210210_182503_2.jpg

                There are the following errors J0508, J0509, J4020, J4201, J4211, J4218, J4219, J4220, the most being , J4201, J4211 and J4218

What parts would you suggest we try to fix/replace in order to fix the issue?

Could be a jam switch that is not going back to home position on time, possibly a bad spring. Or, as Kyo Oem has mentioned, possibly a bad fuser, due to age, a flat spot or swelling of the pressure roller.
Also, try running the paper from the bypass tray to see if you have the same result, this will include or eliminate the paper tray, as sometimes the feed or sep rollers may have a flat spot as well.

I'm going to speculate the fuser exit sensor flag is snapped off. I've seen it a few times. I was lucky enough to have a scrap unit lying about on each occasion. But the only way to get a new part is to order the fuser.

You should see a finger that hangs into the center of the paper path just after the fuser rollers. I suspect that you'll only see a broken stub. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                      As i had written J420x/ J421x
J4201 = eject sensor not arrival jam from cass1
J4208 = eject sensor not arrival jam from duplex
J4211 = eject sensor stay jam from cass1
J4218 = eject sensor stay jam from duplex
J4220 = eject sensor remaining jam during start up from system

Eject sensor is a part of fuser unit

10 years old FK-590 with deformed press roller + broken actuator, i think
                      It`s a UTAX/ TA Brand, this means 220V specification/ sparenumber: 302KV93040/ FK-590(E)
In Bulgaria, there is no UTAX distribution company available, but you can use original Kyocera product.
