Kyocera P6130cdn- "Cassette 1 Not Loaded" Message

In this particular situation, the cassette is loaded. Issue appears to be intermediate as sometimes the machine will detect the cassette and other times it will not.

One thing I do noticed is that lift motor does lift the paper tray when working properly. When not, it doesn't even make noise.

I'm not too familiar with the printer, but is this an indication that the lift motor is going bad?

    Maybe switch size damaged
remove the cassette and look for paper size switch on the left side.(fig. 13, electrical components 1/ #12/ 302HN44180)
    3 small switches present.
Press and hold 1 or more and check if motor turns on rear left side.

Flip the machine on its back. There is a long white flag that drops that get bent out of shape. You will see a stress mark in the plastic. I usually heat it up with a lighter and bend it back if its not broken.
