Re: Reset
So, pointing out that Phil B. insulted someone else and had a bad attitude is me having a bad attitude? Sounds like gaslighting to me.
I could care less about the rep power. I enjoy this site for the people who are polite and helpful and have knowledge that i don't.
The fact that both of you did that to my account is super petty. And the amount you did it by. Maybe you should focus yourselves on not abusing other people on this site. Like being polite to the guy who started the thread in the first place. And the other people who you insult. You guys are on some kind of ego trip. I'm out..
and to keep up the butthurt and whining shows just how petty you are... are you a man or a female? sounds like the latter to me.
your out? does that mean you are leaving for good? God I hope so.Comment

Re: Reset
There are a couple of ways to do this
Note this method will only work if the printer was set to dhcp.
With the device turned on plug it into an active network and give it a couple of minutes to get an ip address. Go to service mode 000 reports and print a network status. Put the ip address of the printer in a web browser and login to the printers rui as admin. Go to tcp-ip reset / initialize to factory defaults.
The ugly method
service mode > 21 memory clear reboot, now you have to be quick before papercut kicks in again, goto system / application / login / deactivate papercut. Do a final memory clear, reboot and papercut should be history.
With kyo there are no machine specific settings to put back and in your case you wanted it reset.
besides why your sites have to be bumped in this thread?A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

I see you asked for Canon machine system software maybe day ago, if I hook you up with this freely will you put the same software/firmware files on your site available to purchase?

Re: Reset
It is in his signature line. When you got him to put it in the body of the post, that made the post one that can be and has been reported. Now if we had a paid advertiser like Just Manuals used to be, then the signature line could also be reported.Comment
