    Turning copier off remotely ?

Is there a way to shut down (Turn Off) a Kyocera remotely. We have a power company that is going to be working on some line and they are going to cut the power and the customer wants to know if we can turn it OFF remotely.

Looked but did not see a shut down - turn off.

Tested the timer here and it only makes the copier go to sleep.

Since the customer knows the date and time the power is going to be turned off, why can they not just shut down the machine before that? They appear to be a little lazy to me.

Sort of: On the webpage there is a ReBoot function. It's intended to re-initializing the machine after making changes to the network settings. And it can be done remotely if you can access the web interface. But ... there is not a shutdown. And if you could shutdown, you could not restart because you can't access the web interface when the machine is off. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

They can always connect the copier to a smart switch and turn it off via mobile app. It's not a proper shut down, but it's no different than if the power went out.

LOL this sounds awful familiar to me. We have an energy company that shuts off power to the building all the time and they pay someone OT to come shut them off and turn them back on again. Also in Texas
