    M3145idn with IB-51 wireless card

Question will the M3145idn with a added IB-51 work with Pin Point scan. I can not seem to Pin Point scan to connect using the wireless card. I have set machines up with Pin Point that have a wireless internal installed and they work great but never a IB-51.

I am thinking this is just a print server, but others said it does not say that anywhere.

    Anyone ever done this? Thanks

OK found out from Kyocera that the IB-51 is not Hypas compatible.

They were going to put the printer where there is not ethernet port of the wall. Been trying to get them to have us install a drop there.

From what I have read on this forum, a cheap wireless router will outperform almost any of these wireless cards.

Just about any wireless bridge is what you want. The IB-51 would only be needed if it were going to access two networks simultaneously, IMO.
        Hope that helps !

Found out from Kyocera that the IB-36 will work with Hypas. That is what they decided to do.

No the machine is a idn, no wireless card.

I have encountered way too many problems with the IB-50 and IB-51.

When I have to do wireless on a machine without wireless built in, I use a TP-Link AC750 Wireless Portable Nano Travel Router. Cheap and flexible and dependable. Just a suggestion.
