I like the previous answer. Its snarky and it motivates the asker to seek the answer through experience. But I do think that this forum is about helping people on that road to experience (and maybe not damage something during the process). That being said, I will try to point you in the right direction.

On just about all the transfer units I have encountered (most all manufactures), the cleaning units are usually attached to the transfer assembly by two screws. These screws are usually course thread screws. I bring this up because care must be given when reattaching the cleaning unit not to strip out the retaining hole in the plastic frame of the transfer unit. This can easily accomplished by using the two finger method when screwing in the course thread screws.

I learned this method from my father while building with wooden products with him. Hold the screwdriver with only the thumb and forefinger (the pointing finger, not the shooting finger) while screwing in the course thread screw. These two fingers will act like a torque wrench and only allow enough torque to tighten the screw and not stripping it. Once the two fingers slip on the screwdriver, its tight enough. Repeat the process to ensure the screw is tight enough.

          Hope that helps.

As a variation on this, use Samantor's particular light grip to rotate the screw anti-clockwise slowly until you hear it click, then reverse direction. Low risk of stripping the plastic frame. The idea is to encourage the screw to drop into a single original set of threads, not create a new set of threads.

If the transfer waste is backing up, there's a chance that the toner waste auger is not spinning. The simple way to be sure is to remove the fuser, and consumables. When you rotate the gear by the fuser on the right frame, you should see the auger turn at the various ports. If the auger does not turn, it is a big project to access the waste toner auger and gear drive.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

To Samanator and blackcat: Thanks for the tip on removing plastic screws. I had never heard that technique before.

Kyo belts drop toner aka toner comets. Return under warranty or just replace.
