TASKalfa 5054ci on a MAC stapling wrong with a DF-7140 finisher.

When stapling sets it staples all the sets together on DF-7140. They are in the right order, just not separated into individual sets. 10 sets all stapled together. Have lots of issues with stapling on 5054ci lately on Windows computers and MACs. Lots of stapling issues with 5054ci using DF-7140 and DF-7100 finishers.

Can we have what OS the Mac is running, what version PPD is installed and what program they are using?

First I would make sure the latest PPD is installed with the Kyocera Print Panel.
I have noticed the last time I looked the Mac PPD does not have all the features the Windows printer driver has.
Personally don't like how the printer settings are done on the Mac. Some of these settings may not be available due to the program they are using.
I had one customer where I had to use Adode Arcobat to get it to do Booklets as Preview did not have all the settings that were needed.
To get it to do Booklets I had to get the right combination of settings, so you might have to experiment a bit with the print settings between the program and the Print Panel.
    Hope this helps.

Had a Mac recently doing weird stuff with stapling. Ended up having to find and delete all the driver files before reinstalling from a fresh download. Now doing everything it is supposed to.

Macs are about 8% of all the computers used in the world. Is it any wonder that stuff used by Macs doesn't always work so well.

I like it when some Mac user will smugly say 'Macs don't get viruses'. I am always tempted to tell them why.

            Oh well.....

Oh yes they do, and when they do it is pretty deadly.
