    MA5500ifx 0511 jam

    Basic info
    printer mfp
    0511 jam

Changed fuser per Tech support ran about 100 pages and back to 0511 jams from cassette.

Manual tray same thing but 0519 jam.

Gets according jam in mouth of fuser, not in fuser before it fuser.

    Motors/ boards sensors, digging deeper.

Going to update firmware, but feels deeper.

Tech support doesn't have much info on this jam code yet.

Thank you in advance, this is great community.

How many prints? How dusty is it internally. Likely the sensor under the drum is registering a false double feed due to dust in the void as per post above. Same internals as 3055

In my experience we have found on the 3655 and 3550 models that the drum units sometimes bind up/run sluggish causing these jams. Has nothing to do with number of counts, fuser, etc. I’d try a new drum unit first.
