[Error Code] 8052ci with random C-2840 errors

Anyone have this code on these? We have a machine that will throw the code and then work almost all day after we go and reset it. We replaced the transfer belt and that didn't fix it, we also vacuumed out all of the cleaning section for the transfer belt. Not really sure where to go from here as it usually only throws the code once a day and it's hard to trace down with it doing it randomly.

I have not seen it on this model but I have seen it on plenty of 3252's. Almost always caused by the waste toner system being backed up and impeding the auger in the belt cleaning unit. I would think it could be similar in your case.

I was thinking the same thing, the tech vacuumed everything out yesterday but it came back. Today he took the front inner section with him that has all of the waste toner system in it, so hopefully that is what it is.

The tech swapped out the front inner piece and it has been working so far, we will see how it goes from here.
