    Kyocera 2554ci brand code

We're setting up our first 2554ci and we are not upgrading the speed. There is supposed to be an envelope with the brand code printed on it but I can't find one anywhere. The only envelope included had the Kyocera badge and two different model labels but nothing else and no code was printed on it. What am I missing?

    Thanks

You are missing Tech Bull #1, it is buried on Pg 32

NP, went through the same thing on my first one because the service manual has all the steps but no code

I haven't even seen one of these yet, with machines and parts being backordered I've been working on maintaining existing equipment. Any noticeable difference between this and earlier models. I was a fan of the 2551ci, the latter 2 not quite as much.

Tom, they are a monumental leap in so many ways. The 52 series had some issues, mostly ironed out in the 53 series, and now a very mature machine with the 54 series. Comparing the 2551 with the 2554 is Like comparing a model T ford with the latest Tesla

I just downloaded bulletin number one and the dealer warranty is 39 months or 1,800,000 copies/prints. That's fantastic!

The breakout feature of the '4' series is the re-vamped interface and vastly increased Network Security.

Remember though, the 25/35 are OPC models with a 200k drum cycle. For systems with all the benefits of Kyocera's ASi drums and Hybrid DV system, stick to the 40ppm and up models which have a 600k drum cycle.
