TA 508ci part came off ?

Customer had taped this part on the copier and I can not figure out where it came from.

Part is about 1" x 3/4" in size.

    Copier is a 508ci with
    DF-5120 finisher
    DP-5120 Document processor
    PF-5140 Paper feeder

I don't think it came off of the copier, don't recognize it at all.
    Hope that helps !

It's the right color ... but no, I cannot identify it.

It looks sorta like a shelf support bracket. Take a look at the nearby cabinets/furniture. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Found where the piece goes. Was working on a machine and found this part in the floor at the shop. Looked on the side where I found it and it goes on the right cover ( 302R429010 COVER RIGHT ) at the bottom and there are two of them. Do not know what purpose they serve. I cannot see any purpose. Mystery solved.
