    5053 dirty lead edge

    Howdy folks,

One of the other techs has a 5053 with dirty lead edge on on all prints. They have replaced black drum, black dv, transfer belt, transfer roller, fuser.
This happens on the first page. The following pages are clean.

Im thinking the transfer belt isn't clean when the paper is fed but it's been swapped already. Possible high voltage issue?

This could be as simple as cleaning the inner cavity of the machine, from the maintenance area, to the paper feed path, to everything in between. It would technically be the lead edge since the paper comes out rotated 180. Always use the K.I.S.S. method first anyway.

I think he's already done that but I'll double check

If all of the above items have been replaced and the unit is clean I would lean toward the high voltage transfer PWB.

Replacing the right side door corrected the issue apparently. Must of been something near the transfer roller or a issue with the roller it's self.
