    Kyocera 5002i " Toner Empty"

I have a problem with the kyocera 5002i. the machine is working normally, there is a message "toner empty" (the toner in the machine is still half). The machine is running genuine ink. Then I turned off the machine and installed a new toner cartridge, the machine automatically showed the toner level is full, then the machine rotated the toner tube for about 5 minutes and said "toner empty" I tried 3 other toner cartridges (the machine still rotated for 5 minutes) and show" toner empty". The door switch works normally. Let me know what's wrong with the machine

System now in "engine sensed toner empty mode", skipped RFID chip value
!. Check toner forwarding condition from cartridge --> toner hopper unit (see picture from Iris color, #1)
    2. Check toner forwarding behind toner motor --> developer unit (same picture, #2)

Take a look at the Event Log/Toner log to see what it reports, and run MM135 Hopper BK and check sensor output before your just tear into the hopper.

Half of the time no clogging is found and general logic/sensing failures are found. It seems when the system thinks the toner container is empty it starts losing it's mind.

Interesting that such a detailed image is available regarding this system, is engineering getting closer to resolving the multiple logic failures occurring around the toner add system?

It appears that this failure may also be leading to eventual C7301/C7101 codes where hopper replacement does not resolve the condition, as seen on a 3554ci:

"Engine Sensed Toner Empty" improperly was evidenced by Toner Log (container was over 50% full):

This was made worse by tech R&R BK drum/DV with power while trying to fix C7301 code, but the entire problem started with #5 where a newly inserted BK toner was sensed as empty.

This required a second new toner container be inserted and the BK DV replaced at the same time to resolve the C7101 code which the problem devolved to.

Looks like replacing the ink hopper will solve the problem

Is the bottle turning ? I had one that did this and a gear that drives the bottle turning was broken right off the shaft . Guessing customer forced/slammed it and broke the gear.

I went there to check and found that the u031 was showing manual, I changed it to auto, the machine was running normally

i think you changed U131/ "Mode" (from "toner sensor control voltage adjustment") instead of U031(checking the conveying switch)!
One stupid guy had changed it in past

yes U131 it's hard to find. Someone change this code

                    Hello,
for this problem personally I test:
                    - If the cartridge turns (drive)
                    - U135 / toner sensor (if out of range change the hopper)
the hopper is managed by the image feed.
                    - Check if the DV is running (drive)
                    - U155 / toner sensor (if out of limit change the DV)

check the felt of the hopper

                    good luck.
