    bad print problem MA 4500ifx

    Hello,

    I have a little problem on a MA 4500ifx.
The left side of the print is not or bad printed...
I clean the laser glass, change the PCU and change the dev but I already have the problem...
I think I must clean the laser unit completly
    Thanks for your help

What was the original problem. Is the machine extremely dirty? do you us Original Utax toners? There may be a spill on the one side or toner has gotten inside the laser.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

Pull the charge roller unit out completely and make a print. you should get solid black. if you still have the same issue then its not in the LSU. Try a panic stop and Check drum to see if solid black image is staying on drum. could possibly be transfer pressure issue.

Check that the transfer roller is seated properly under the drum.
