Kyocera MA3500CIFX durable machine for mid volume?

Hey Guys... I have a customer with a budget of $1500... They will be doing approx. 2500 to 3000 pages per month. Would the Kyocera MA3500CIFX full color machine be a good fit? They have a Kyocera M4132idn that they will use for all the B&W that is needed. They want to do a front page for their bulletin and they also on occasion do a news letter that could be 5,000 pages a couple time a year. there are months that they will do 2,000 pages the whole month, but other times they will do a high volume run, I figured a 3,000 page average at 36K per year. What are your thoughts on the durability of this machine? I am not worried about the toner because they will be paying for it when needed... No supplies included with service agreement.
Do any of you out there have this machine in an environment similar to this & how has it been performing?
    Thanks for your input

I think I would try to get them into a 308ci.
    Hope that helps !

Yeah, LOL, if I was a non-profit organization and I could give it to them at cost, but they only have $1,500.... Believe me, I tried to get them to try and see that a little bit better machine and just a few hundred more, but they're not up for it, that's why I was trying to get some feedback on the MA3500CIFX. I appreciate your opinion truly. Do you have any of these ma3500's in the field?

We put a MA4000 out. So far we haven't seen it. Those boxes are pretty new. They changed the transfer belt design and the DV units are no longer that touch down system but Dual Component like the 2554/3554. So far that system seems to work very well.

The MA4000 has double the toner capacity of the MA3500. I would avoid selling the MA3500 for that reason as your CPC will be lower and less shipping costs.

I would still go for the TA308 as posted above for sure. Those will do 5k a month with out breaking a sweat. I know for us the 308 is a cheaper box than the MA4000.

Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

Better to get them into a low volume refurbished TA-2553ci. Lower cost to run, easily do the volume and likely never need anything replaced in a 5 year cycle @ 150k total volume.
