Deformation when using automatic feeder Kyocera 2552ci

    Hello,
on my Kyocera 2552ci there is a deformation problem when using the automatic feeder. When scanning vertical A4 or A3 document, a couple of centemetrs from the right page border the image is slightly deformed. This does not happen when feeding horizontal A4. I tested multiple DPI settings to see if the paper speed was the issue, but it's not the case.
You can see the problem in the attached pictures, it's most visible in the top-right corner, near the last bold line. On the bottom it's almost disappeared.
What might be the problem? Is a complete swap of the automatic feeder necessary or it can be fixed?
    Thanks!

Which DP as attached? There's a chance that the skew is caused by the hinges that have broken out, lifting up the one edge of the feeder.

I'm sorry, what do you mean by "Which DP as attached?" Yes the hinges might be the issue since the cover doesn't stay open half-way for example, but I'm having trouble trying to troubleshoot since all the scans are the same even if I appy pressure or keep up different edges. Thanks for the reply!

There are 3 different DP's that can be added. One is an RSPF, there's a DSPF, and there's a higher capacity DSPF version, too.

          I have a DP-7120, it should be a 50 page RSPF

On the DP-7120 the hinge pocket can get cracked causing the adf frame to be distorted. Pull the covers on the back of the feeder and inspect the feed head side hinge pocket for cracks.

I would need a guide to open the cover and check for the hinge since this is my first time addressing a similar issue. Inspecting the hinge near the feed head it's solid and it seems quite leveled, keeping the cover slightly pressed or higher during the document feed does not affect the result, that it's always the same. The cover doesn't always stay open, so the hinge might be having problems, but not sure if it's causing this one.
