    KFS Network Error When Registering

I have a customer machine that was originally setup on KFS with no problem. When my office went to move them to a different group on the website they mistakenly deleted it. I went back to the machine and remote services was still setup and grayed out. I did a U520 to shut off. Now when I set it up it gives me a network error canโ€™t register. Help!

Have you tried deleting the machine from KFS and then visiting it and going through U520 switch off, and setting it up again?

This was the initial problem that started this. We had it setup but mistakenly deleted it in kfs. I went to the customer site yesterday and it showed as still setup in the machine but offline. Had to perform a U520 to reset and do a new setup. Once i do the final step and press register i get a network error cant register. I know itโ€™s not a network issue at the customer site because it was setup a few days before and they havent done any changes to their network.

Log in thru the Web portal and make sure that Enable both Serverside and Clientside settings SSL3.0/TLS1.0, TLS1.1, and TLS1.2 protocols in Security Settings > Network Security. Also verify SHA1/2 are enabled for Server and Client side.

Kyocera making changes on their end and if they are not turned on then you will not be able to register in KFS. Had that problem just last week.

And be sure to restart the machine after any changes are made.

What if you went to administration in KFS and hit the recycle bin and restored it?

Great suggestion Lunatech. I didn't even think of this. Unfortunately although this got it back on our KFS it shows offline

You can also try to login to the command center using username:RSAdmin password RSAdmin you'll be able to go to settings and turn off KFS. power off/on and it should be like new.
